I seldom write reviews for hardware, but really impressed with these speakers to compensate for my puny speakers from the laptop. Many movies and podcasts are hard to hear from the laptop speakers, use earphones which can be restrictive when wanting to walk around and listen. The volume is far beyond what I expected, very loud when full blast. The base is not like an expensive Bose, but was looking mainly for increased volume. Music sounds fine, sound for movies is incredible which caused me to write this. Great product with not requiruing a power source or battery, I am delighted.
