This is truly a polarizing book. When you read it, you will either love it, or hate it. I have yet to meet anyone on middle grounds with it. A friend and I actually avoid talking about it because we disagree so much about it.

I enjoyed the book for the first chapter or so before repetition of the line “[x] depressed me” began to annoy me to no end. I simply could not like Holden, and this is not a book where you can dislike the main character but still enjoy the story.

Having read it for an assignment and then having to write an essay, I do appreciate the meaning behind the book. I appreciate and understand how we hate the characteristics in others that most reflect upon ourselves and how desperately one holds on to childhood. I simply could not enjoy the story as much as I liked the meaning behind it.

I bought this pedometer thinking it could track my distance. It only measures the distance you run in relation to your stride length, not actaul mileage. Totally useless.

Wow, it’s been four years since it’s release and its still sold out! I called 3 town looking for one and decided to take my chances online, and oh boy am I glad I did! The overnight shipping rate was cheaper than sales tax in the store! I got my Wii today delivered to my door. I am more than pleased with the packaging and shipping rates, and the product was brand new in the box, very high quality! I am recommending this to anyone!

I love my kindle. Now I don’t have to carry a book around with me, lose my bookmark, or forget the book at home. I have kindle on my BlackBerry, and always take my regular kindle on vacation with me. I read more now than I ever have.

I was able to get the medium-sized Furminator, with shipping, for about $20 here on amazon, and it’s totally worth it. We’ve got a 100-lb. mutt that sheds like crazy, especially during the hot months here in the south, and this has helped tremendously. Don’t expect a miracle– your dog will still shed some (it’s a dog, after all), but this cut down the amount of dog hair around our house A LOT. We’re putting our house up for sale soon and I don’t know that we could keep it clean without this product. Happy brushing!

I had a Garmin 301. Its usb plug corroded. I contacted customer’s service, and they exchanged the device, no questions asked.
Since I bought 2 garmin 305, one for me and one for the Miss. I updated gps software on one of them… it’s not working anymore. I tried to contact customer’s service by sending 3 email for the last 2 weeks… no answer yet.

I bought this book because it was rated so highly and it was a NaNoWriMo novel. Somehow I made it to the bit that describes the old man having a shower which is about a 1/3 the way through according to my Kindle progress bar. I don’t know how. I found it so incredibly vulgar that I just couldn’t keep going. I didn’t even care enough about the characters or the story to skip to the last few pages to find out what happened. In fact, I wish I could erase what I did read from my head and gain back the time I wasted reading it.
