I purchased another bran of pedometer. It was very difficult to get it all set up, and it didn’t seem very accurate.

This Omron HJ-112 digital pedometer is EASY and accurate, once you set it to your natural walking pace (mine is 2 feet). I wear it to work or wherever I am all day. It give me a good feel for how much activity I need to do to reach 10,000 steps per day, which I haven’t done yet. So I’d better get my butt up off this couch and do more walking.

This brush is heaven sent! I can’t believe how much fur this brush removes from my cat. I spent about an hour, leisurely grooming one of my cats and filled up a bag with enough fur to build another cat. It puts all other brushes to shame. With my old brush I could do a couple strokes and maybe grab a few strands of loose hair. The FURminator digs deep, removing all the fluffy undercoat pieces that usually end up on your clothes, furniture or carpet. Prepare to be amazed by how much hair you will remove while still keeping the shiny top coat intact.

Be sure to trim your cats claws as a precautionary measure. One of my cats absolutely loves being groomed & will purr, knead & claw you (gently) in pleasure. My other cat can only tolerate being groomed for a few minutes & will let you know what he thinks. Know your cat’s personality, but don’t hesitate to purchase this brush.

I really liked how this worked; like most reviewers I didn’t think it would stay on the dashboard or allow me to move it around–but it did. However, after some time it loses flexibility and stops gripping–that is, you can put it on your dashboard but it’s just lying there–it no longer has much/any traction and will easily fall off. I’ve done some dangerous things as I’ve lunged to keep it from flying off–now I never accelerate rapidly or turn sharply because it will fly off. I also have to push it further back on the dash (to a flatter place) than I would like visually to keep it from falling off.

I’ve had it now about a year although it hasn’t been “working” correctly for months. I live in a very hot climate which perhaps plays a role but it’s only on the dash when I’m driving; I hide the Garmin at all other times. So its exposure to high heat isn’t that bad.

I’m now buying a new one–which I suppose gives a mixed message. $23 for 6 – 8 months? Not terrible but far from wonderful.

I think that this was a good choice for the money, however, the hose is extremely short, the shortest I’ve seen on any vacuum. I will now have to purchase the extender hose. Also, sometimes dust flies out the top when I’m using the hose.

I just read the book, now I am 47 and this is what I got out of it: All the adults are not dealing with a troubled youth in a constructive way. I have read some of the reviews and I think they are giving Salenger way to much credit. This is a book where the adults are dumb and the only smart one is the kid sister. My guess is Salinger had a issue with authority figures all his life and let it all out in this book. I can say that I have read it so I can at least discuss it with others but I got no insite into my life from it and neither did Holden by the way. There is lots of cussing for no really good reason in the book. If you took all that out, the story would be the same but it would be much more readable to a larger audiance.

Holden has some real mental issues going but I don’t think society is the cause as my guess Salinger would like us to think. I do think society will be shown as the cause if they ever make a movie or Holden will be shown as some misguided saint. Kind of reminds me of the teenage boy shooters that we have seen over the last few years. I wonder if any one of them have read this book?

I’m very disappointed with this scale, I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because of the design. Wanting something more accurate than my $15 scale, I decided to get it after reading the majority of good reviews. At first, it seemed pretty accurate; I tested it by weighing myself, then weighing 5 lb weights and a 6 lb medicine ball, alone and while holding them. It was accurate every time, even when I placed it on different areas on my bathroom floor. A week later, I weighed myself again and it showed a 4 lb weight loss which I was excited about. A week after that, I weighed again and it showed a 5 lb GAIN, even though I didn’t change my diet. So, I tested it again by moving it around and using weights. This time, it wasn’t accurate at all; I would weigh myself 2-5 times in the same spot and it would show up to an 8 lb difference. I placed it on every hard surface in my house and had the same problem each time. My 6 lb medicine ball would be 5.8 lbs most of the time, sometimes 6.6 lbs and my 5 lb hand weights (10 lbs total) would usually be 9 lbs. But the worst part is the 2-8 lb fluctuation in my weight everytime, that isn’t just a little off, it’s WAY off. I never dropped it or did anything to cause any damage to the scale, and I’m well within the weight limit (around 140 lbs).

I’m definitely going to return this scale, if anything I hope the company has good customer service.
