I’m pleased with this purchase, but not as blown away as I expected.

The furminator does the job better than any other brush I’ve tried, but it didn’t remove the huge amount of fur I was expecting. My dog is a relatively long-haired chocolate lab, and while the brush does a great job, for me it was not the miracle worker other reviews led me to believe. It does its job well, though, and while it won’t completely remove your shedding problems, it’s much more thorough than anything else I’ve tried. It did also work well for the greyhound who stays with us, but didn’t work for the pit puppy!

I have used and continue to use Ozone products. I very much like the super clean smell the machine produces. Unknown to me the “sharp” smell that the air takes on after using the product is a type of carbon equal to outside smog which can cause headaches and other health issues. In 2011 there will be a new mandate for the parts per billion that these machines can omit which will make it a better product. There is a website that lists all of this information and I did contact the seller to find out if this product was in compliance. I never heard back from them so I am assuming that means it is not a compliant item. I do however continue to use it in the air purification with the light.

I agree with one of the other reviews that if you are a Christian this book does go against some of the fundamentals that Christians embrace.
I have the second and third books and in there he says that Hitler went to Heaven because death is not really bad. If you have no solid Christian doctrines than you might believe what the author says. We have no real way of knowing the truths of these books. Don’t always assume it is true, but it can be interesting reading. Please just beware of what you read and absorb from these books. They are not total truths or doctrines.
Oreck Air Purifier Scent

Well another product I purchased thinking… okay I’m just throwing my money away. HDMI cables don’t cost two dollars, they cost 30 dollars and up… clearly the retail stores and/or cable manufacturers wouldn’t lie to me and overprice their cables… would they?

Long story short they did. I put these cables against a 36 dollar Vizio cable which was the cheapest I could find at my local walmart. They are running through a switch box due to my tv only having one input for HDMI and I gotta say compared to PC video quality on HDMI from Monitor to GPU (22″inch 720p Vizio tv as a monitor plugged into a pc with an 1gb ATI Radeon card) the image quality is no different from the vizio cable I was using. Now from the TV to the Xbox, again no difference between that and the vizio cable. All in all Id say these cables are a win, apparently they are only class 1 though according to other customer reviews. So if all you need is an HDMI cable and you dont wanna get ripped a new one at the local store, just buy this.

I wouldn’t trust this for certified scale-weighing.

I’m an athlete that needs precise weights. Whether I step on this scale with a 24 oz bottle of tea or not, the scale registers the same weight…go figure.

Also, when weighing on different surfaces (i.e. wood flooring or bathroom tile), the weights register differently. Not good.
True Hepa Air Purifier

I didn’t know what to except. Water for Elephants is a great Novel. I have laughed out loud, felt like crying, and been amazed! I feel that this book is well written, and a good read. If you have ever been to the circus, had a relative that is elderly, or fell in love, you have something in common with the story. Animal lovers will have a tough time reading some parts of this book. I love animals and it is often tough to learn how many animals were cared for, or not cared for. You will love the people in the story, and at time you will be mad as hell at them. I felt that I was on the train with Marlena and Jacob. I felt their pain and joys. Get a glass of Lemonade and enjoy this book. Enjoy! Water for Elephants: A Novel

I admit it, I liked this book. It revolves around themes of “who is my family” when one is adrift at sea, biologically speaking. I know there are criticisms of the cruelty to animals issues and I was uncomfortable with them also. However, the story is set in the 1920-30’s and it is about the circus and I believe Ms. Gruen wrote accurately about how animals fared in that time and place.

Conversations with God : An Uncommon Dialogue by Neale Donald Walsch is a thought provoking book about one man’s relation with God. Walsch spends years writing down questions about religion and God on a legal pad. Out of the blue God starts answering them. It becomes quite complex at times. It’s just nice to see people are interested in what God has to say in this day and age.
If you’re so inclined, and want to read the messages God gave to a man who prayed 1,000,000 prayers than you definitely want to read this Great new book I found about faith, Jesus, God’s message and what we will do in the after-life entitled “The Enlightenment, What God Told Me After One Million Prayers: A Message for Everyone,” by John H. Eagan. It’s really fantastic and the message from God is just amazing. I think the readers of Walsch’s book will really enjoy The Enlightenment. I can’t recommend it enough!
