This is my second friction mount. After stumbling with suction cups, the friction mount did the job. It fits on top of your dash and is easily portable if you want to bring it inside or just move it to the floor of your vehicle. If you don’t want it to be visible on the dash when not in use a regular size baseball cap will cover it nicely. There is a little slippage on the some dashboards over time but not serious and nothing that can’t be adjusted in less than a minute.

There is not much to say. This card has been reliably storing and retrieving videos and pictures in my handy little hand-held camera for about 2 years now. It just works, and relatively fast. Just make sure your device is SDHC capable (it’s the HC or High Capacity part you have to watch for). If your device or reader are not SDHC compatible, then you will be wasting your money. Otherwise, great card.

I just bought this for myself and i must say that i do really love it.

con: the only downside is that if you in fact don’t have a wireless internet connection at your home the ipod touch doesn’t do much besides play music. but once i went out and bought a wireless router (cost $50)and set it up my ipod was up and running.

pro: The internet is quick and really convenient. I love being able to check my facebook with just one tap using the facebook application, and it was free.

con:One thing i was disappointed by was the voice control feature. I thought that by using the voice control i could control my music hands free but i was wrong, in order to activate the voice control you need to hold the home button in or the button on the headphones, then speak your command. The voice control also does not continue to stay in that mode for more then one command. I don’t use this feature since its just as easy to tap next.

If buying this i would defiantly tell you to also order a cover since this is such a fragile item.

Pro: I must say that the video quality is amazing on this!!!! The picture is crystal clear. I LOVEEE being able to go on youtube and easily view music videos, without paying for them.

pro: One feature i love is the landscape view. All though you can’t use this view for all things you can use it for viewing videos, photos, web pages and other things.

pro: All though the screen is fairly large, the zoom feature does come in handy when viewing web pages.

con: I will buying a docking station with speakers since the sound quality of the external speaker on the ipod touch has disappointing quality. I’m not an audiophile or whatever but i have still noticed the lack of quality on this speaker.

I am impressed with this cleaner.

I have just used it again today after a few months since the last use. And I realized I had not left a review for the Hoover Steamvac that I had purchased from Amazon. And I feel strongly enough about it that it deserves a positive review.

The Hoover SteamVac cleans great. It is easy to use and isn’t hard to push or pull, and I have arthritis in my shoulder and my knees.

The assembly of this machine is easy and didn’t take long.
I recommend reading the manual thoroughly and follow directions carefully and learn about this cleaner.
If you do that I don’t see how there will be any hitches.

I find this machine is efficient, my carpet looks bright and clean again today, this is great in high traffic areas, and we have a cream colored carpet, so you know it shows up dirt and spots quickly. The Hoover steamvac pretty much deals with that. I can’t believe how bad our carpet was, I just emptied 3 canisters of dirty water, but it was well worth it.
I feel that I won’t be embarrassed if anyone visited me right now as my carpet looks great.

How to USE: I recommend pushing the cleaner slowly but surely and evenly, the slower you go the more the spin brushes can do their job, and on the pull back the water gets sucked up more efficiently and the carpet will be drier.

I like the fact you can see the water being sucked up and you can tell when there is no more moisture to suck up and so you can move to another strip of carpet. I find the carpet dries quickly.
When you walk forward you squeeze the trigger to release the water/solution, then let go of the trigger and pull back the steamvac over the same strip of carpet, on the bull back the cleaner sucks up the water from the carpet. You can move the cleaner forward again without squeezing the trigger and pull back the cleaner again so as to suck up more of the moisture. Yes, this USB zip drive is much faster than a parallel zip drive. The main reason why I got this one was I need some kind of protable storage for my laptop at home, so that I could carry my large files from the office to home. It has more than served its purpose. However, after seeing its price today I was really angry with myself why I bought it so early. I bought it for 130 $ and I think 85 $ is a good price for it.

As for installing it on my laptop, it was very easy. Just plug in and start your comp. If you have windows 95, 98 then the OS automatically recognizes the zip drive and asks if you want to install the driver etc. Just follow the prompts and you are ready to roll. One warning from my side is do not plug in and plug out from the comp when on. I think this may damage the zip drive as well as the USB port. But if you are in a hurry its fine. Also the eject feature of the drive is pretty strong as suggested by other users, but I never had an experience of my zip disk shooting out of the drive.

I think this is the way to go if you want to transfer large amount of data everyday between comps. If you are looking for backups etc. I would suggest go with jazz drives.
