I bought this unit to my wife due the beautiful picture. Unfortunately reality is not so good. The “brick color” is not red but a orange one. The “metal” environment is a white plastic. The watch is very ugly to be honest but, does what have to do (nice heart monitor).

An amazing book! It was recommended by a friend, and so I thought I would read it to see if it would give me any new insights into the age-old questions about the purpose of life etc. I didn’t really know what to expect, but it blew me away! It’s a conversation between an ordinary man called Neale Donald Walsch (with a lot of problems in his life) and God (you may not accept that it’s ‘God’ talking, but then that’s up to you) and it’s written in a very easy to read style. From the first page it had me riveted and I couldn’t put it down. You learn about the importance of trusting your feelings, expressing appreciation, how all human feelings are rooted in either fear or love and that we have been taught to live in fear. As it says in the book ‘precious little is said about the glory of the most loving’, but an awful lot is said in our society about being ‘better’, ’stronger’ and ‘cleverer’ than others. Fear motivates us to be this, because we don’t want to be considered failures. All the big questions are answered: why are we here? Why is there evil in the world? Is there sin? Is there a hell? If so, what is it? Why do things happen as they do? What happens when you die? How can I have successful relationships? Is having a lot of money a bad thing? And inbetween times there’s also humour, because we’re told that God has a great sense of humour!

So many of my questions were answered in a totally new way (going to church or reading the Bible had never given me answers like these) and not only did they make sense to me, they were also liberating! If you’re remotely curious about any of the above questions, then I would encourage you to read this book and decide for yourself whether the answers are for you or not.

I love the protection that this case gives me from bumps and falls, and it looks awesome. I get a lot of compliments on its looks. I have three beefs with it: (1) It is very large compared to the phone — I guess it has to be to be so sturdy, so this is worth the sacrifice for me, but be warned that it will at least double the size of your phone, and that is without the holster; (2) There are no instructions included for how to disassemble the case to put the phone in — I figured it out after a couple minutes, but instructions would be nice, because I was worried about breaking the case by disassembling it; (3) not a great case for a humid climate — I live in Florida, and this case lets moisture in, then traps it right between the screen and the screen cover; I can still read things fine though, it’s just annoying. Overall I like the case though. You can still use all the buttons fine with the rubber surround, you can still use the screen fine with the screen protector, and the case is rock solid. If it was more water-tight it would be a huge win for me (including getting rid of the moisutre issue), but overall still a good case.

The book is set in Ireland for the most part and is written by an Irish author. Artemis Fowl is a twelve year old genius, who lives on an estate outside of Dublin. He has decided to replace his family’s failing wealth by stealing a Fairy’s `Book’. Artemis learns the language and customs of fairies, and develops a complicated plan to capture a fairy, Holly, in order to trade her for all the gold in the LEPrecons hostage fund. Holly is an energetic Fairy with a bit to prove since her recent catastrophe. The book is fast paced and interesting. The difference between the two worlds is intriguing. The author alternates between the viewpoint of Artemis and Holly. At one point in the middle of the book, the author’s voice pops in and introduces another character, literally. The effect was a speed bump while reading. This is a world where the different species interact; dwarf, trolls, mud people (humans) and fairies are alive and interesting. The author alluded to at least two other stories related to the characters in this book. The problem with the book is I didn’t really identify with any of the characters. There were interesting passages about Artemis and Holly, the Butler character was intriguing, and Commander Root was unique, but none of them had me cheering for them to succeed. Holly was the friendliest character, but she was not the main character. It would be interesting to have a student debate the ethics of Artemis’ plan. What was the good Artemis accomplished? Or was there any at all? The end of the book specifically states that we should not interpret Artemis’ actions regarding his mother and anything other than selfishness. Students will identify with Artemis because he is so smart, smarter than everyone around him, what kid doesn’t feel that? He gets to order around all the adults in his world as well. I’ve given it numerous times to friends and I have two copies of my own – one to loan out because I tell everyone I know about this book. It’s an amazing read and it’s really different. I loved the book.

I think this is remarkable. I can go out and come back and look at what I’ve done.
It is very easy to use. I’m somewhat computer illiterate and this has been understandable for use. I’ve even used it in my car, just to see what would happen.
I really would recommend this for someone who is training.

I feel duped by these reviews. This book would be perfect for my 11 year old cousin, but is by no means a great book for all ages as these reviews would indicate. It is very slapstick and dorky. You could read the whole thing in a day and forget it even sooner. Also, Artemis Fowl is a punk.

Fortune ok or not

HDMI cables are built to a certain standard otherwise they are not HDMI cables, simple. They carry digtal information so they either work 100% or they do not. This cable works great and it was inexpensive, recommended.
