I love my iPod Touch. Palm screwed up, because I used to use a Palm Pilot and then a Palm T|X, but I needed something that could keep up with Outlook functionality. What?!? no 64bit support? That was the last straw. I’m an iPod convert now.

The iPod is brain dead simple to synch calendars and there are so many more features and apps. A spare moment? Catch up on e-mail, read the news, play a game. My favorite app is InstaPaper. Traveling? I use a guided imagery podcast to help me get to sleep.

I choose the iPod over an iPhone because I didn’t want a service contract with AT&T. With wireless networks readily available, I don’t feel I’m missing too much.

I just received the hoover tempo vacuum today [model u5140900) so I’ll need to add an additional review later after I’ve used it a few more times for cleaning my home. What I want to call out today is that if you purchase this vacuum it is not the one with “select model features” = check bag indicator, headlight, or embedded dirtfinder (red/green light highlights areas that may need more cleaning. Based upon running the vaccuum for the first time today I think that I will still be VERY pleased with the purchase especially for the price but I don’t want anyone to be disappointed.

I received my friction mount and Garmin 275T Device and have to say I am very pleased with both. It is very easy to put the 275T onto the mount. I have only used it a couple of times but there is no problem with it staying on the dash and have found it handy to just unplug the 12V plug and stick the 275t, the mount and the plug into a small carry-on bag to take with me or to put in a same place in the car.

This is my first review, and I have to say that this shedding tool is WONDERFUL. I wish I had know of it 6 years ago when I got our Shepherd/rott mix. Spring has always been a pain when it comes to shedding season with this dog, and the first time I used the furminator on her, it took out almost all of the undercoat. I HIGHLY recommend this comb.

It’s rare that I am surprised and astounded by the performance of a product. I’ve used a Ultimate Touch Instant Mat & Tangle Remover and it’s like for a long time on my cats. I have a fairly long haired cat that doesn’t shed excessively, but does shed. I can spend a 15 minutes working over my cat with the aforementioned and get an amount of fur equal to maybe 5 seconds with the FURminator.

I can see why they say it helps to reduce shedding. My cat enjoyed being groomed with this, for a while. Then he started nipping at me as if to say “I’ve had enough of this”. By that time (about 10 minutes) I’d gotten perhaps 2 or 3 heaping handfuls of loose fur off of him. He looks fine, and his coat feels great.

I will never use another cat brush again. There is no need to find a better product, and every product I’ve tried thus far has been vastly inferior to this one. The small size is just fine for a cat-sized animal.

Funicular Ride to Observatory

Hi! I’m saving up for a Wii and I can’t wait. I hope it’ll be worth it to wait till’ August, since I get $20.00 a month. Right now I have a dollar from doing some stuff, but the first game I’m gonna get is We Cheer, I think. I’ve watched cool music videos and the game looks so fun! My favorite song in We Cheer 2 is Homecoming by Hey Monday. So cool, and I love the rythm! Can’t wait to get one!

The dashboard on my Acura has a lot of curves and I was skeptical about the stability of this item when I bought it, but it has enough weight and contours to the shape of my dash, so my Garmin is very stable, even over speed bumps. The GPS is easy to lock to the pad, adjusts horizontally and is easy to remove.

I’ve had this Omron Pedometer for over a year during which it has performed faultlessly. I’ve had to change the battery once.

Last night the unit went through a wash in my fast spinning front loading washing machine. It came out with the screen fogged and not working. I opened up the back with the three tiny screws and dried it out with a hairdryer. Now it works like new! Tough little pedometer.

I’ve had a lot of fun with pedometers but this one I enjoy a lot. It gives me a variery of details such as calories burned as well as miles and/or steps taken.
