I was shocked at the amount of fur this pulled off of our St Bernard/Wolf mix. He has a very thick coat that seems unending – normal brushes do very little.

The demonstration videos of the Furminator are not an exaggeration; it works exactly like they say it does. I made the joke that the item comes with a free Pomeranian because the (compressed) ball of fur we end up with each time is the size of a small dog.

I don’t know yet how often the head needs to be replaced to maintain optimum functionality but we have used it about 10 times now and it still works perfectly.

Others also mentioned that their dogs seem to enjoy the feeling of this product – almost like scratching them with your fingers. Our dog was a little unsure about it when we started but he promptly fell asleep while we brushed him. I thought the product might pull on the hair too much but it seems to just slide right through with almost no resistance; you just have to watch out for matted spots of fur.

If you have a dog who is shy of brushes just walk to him/her without using excitement and set it on the floor for the dog to sniff then gradually start brushing.

If you have a thick-coated pup this will be a great help for maintaining the amount of fur left around the house. Also, if you live in a hot-weather climate with a thick-coated dog this does a good job of removing the undercoat to help keep him/her cool.

So I haven’t read this book in about 10 years. I just randomly decided that I want to start reading again to help add some imagery and metaphors into my song writing – believe me, reading does this. So literally 5 minutes ago, I did a google search for this book, and the first thing that pops up is that JD Salinger died yesterday, the article was created at right about the same time I was thinking of getting this book again. Fate? I dunno???

As soon as I started reading this book I was hooked. If someone hadn’t recommended it to me I probably wouldn’t have read it (I’m not really interested in circuses). However, I thoroughly enjoyed reading about a depression-era circus and about what happens behind the scenes. Very fascinating as many things in this book are from true stories. Written very vividly, I could picture each person clearly as well as everything that was happening. I totally recommend it!!!

My lab-mix sheds all over the house, and I tried some cheaper brushes first thinking they were probably all the same. When I was still having hair everywhere, I tried the FURminator after a friend recommended it, and it removed so much hair I think I could have built a new dog. I tried scraping it on my wrist to make sure it wouldn’t be painful to the dog, and it was not.

I had been reading and hearing about the Furminator for such a long time. I had to see if it was really that good. Well I am happy to say it is fantastic. I have two dogs and shedding is a big problem for me. I can’t believe how much hair you can get off your dog using the Furminator. This does exactly what the advertisements say it would. The funny thing is my dogs love being brushed with it. It must feel good on their skin or they are noticing how happy I get when I brush them. Either way it’s definitely worth buying and your dogs will thank you for it.

I was really excited when I got my Zagg Invisible shield. Well, that didn’t last too long. When I opened it and notice that there was no Spray or squeegee. I was able to put it on anyways with a water bottle but it still made me a little upset with Amazon. I have bought from Amazon plenty of times and this is a first for me.
